What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026After a call, Hamza Akhtar proposed training for North East branch teams. Karen Oxley chose Thursday morning at 10:00, remote, and named stop-checking before delivery as the main use case. Attendee names to follow.
Ask: Karen wants branch managers and trade counter leads included, and would rather have too many than too few attendees.
Customer view: her top pain is knowing quickly whether a customer's account is on stop before promising a delivery. She will send more situations from her team.
Next: Karen is to confirm names early the following week, and Hamza to send the invitation.

- Hamza Akhtar 11 Jun 2025 15:05Hi Karen, Following our call, I would like to get the training session for your North East branch teams into the diary. As we discussed, the idea is to walk people through finding a trade account's orders, deliveries, calls and credit position in one place, using your own accounts rather than examples, so it feels like their day job. I can do next Tuesday or next Thursday. Either a morning or an early afternoon would work for me, and I would suggest about two hours so there is time for questions. It can be run remotely, or if you would rather have people in a room together, tell me and I will look at what is possible. Two things would help me prepare: - which branches or teams you want to include - a couple of real situations your people struggle with at the moment, for example a builder ringing about a late delivery while their credit is on hold If you can let me know what suits, I will send the invitation straight away. Thanks, Hamza Hamza Akhtar Implementation Consultant, BG-Demo
- Karen Oxley 12 Jun 2025 17:08Hi Hamza, Thanks for this, and sorry for the slow reply. It has been one of those days, with two branches short-staffed and a builder on the phone for most of the afternoon. Thursday morning works better for me. The branches are quieter first thing, so people can step away. Say 10:00 if that suits you. Remote is fine, most of my managers will dial in from their own branch office. I would like the branch managers and the trade counter leads from the North East in there. I am not sure yet how many that will be, so I will confirm names to you early next week. I would rather have too many than too few. As for real situations, the one that comes up most is finding out quickly whether a customer's account is on stop before we promise a delivery. I will gather a couple more from the team and send them over. Thanks again, Karen Karen Oxley Regional Branch Manager, North East Strensall Merchants On 11 Jun 2025, at 15:05, Hamza Akhtar wrote: > I can do next Tuesday or next Thursday.
