As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Hamza Akhtar proposes the credit connector session. Ashok Patel reports branch totals matched the ledger, but will not switch on credit until the trade-credit team agrees which fields are visible. Session pencilled in for Wednesday.
Ask: Hamza wanted a session on credit limits and payment terms and on any masking before data lands in the customer's Snowflake account.
Customer view: Ashok is positive on the branch load, saying totals matched the ledger. He holds back on credit until the trade-credit team decides, and will keep the first load in a separate schema.
Next: Hamza brings a list of typical credit fields for the team to strike off.

- Hamza Akhtar 14 May 2025 17:36Hi Ashok, The branch test looks healthy from our end, so I'd like to move on to the credit system next. This is the one the trade-credit team will care most about, because they want to see an account's balance and terms next to its orders and deliveries. Could we book a session early next week? I'd like to cover how credit limits and payment terms are held, and whether anything in the extract needs masking before it lands in your Snowflake account. You'll know better than I do what the credit team are comfortable with. Speak soon, Hamza
- Ashok Patel 15 May 2025 16:07Hamza, Glad the branch load looks right. I checked a few accounts against the ledger and the totals matched, which is what I was hoping for. For credit, I need to speak to the trade-credit team first about which fields they want visible. I don't want to switch anything on before they've agreed. I'll test it on one branch first again, and I won't delete anything I can't restore, so we'll keep the first load in a separate schema. Tuesday would work if I can get an answer from them by Monday. If not, can we slip it to Wednesday? I'll confirm on Monday either way. Ashok
- Hamza Akhtar 20 May 2025 13:48Hi Ashok, Thanks for confirming. A separate schema for the first load is a sensible way to do it, and it keeps things easy to undo if the credit team want fields changed. I've pencilled in Wednesday so you have a bit more breathing room with the credit team. I'll bring a short list of the credit fields we normally see, and you can strike off anything they would rather leave out. Cheers, Hamza
