What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026After discovery, Lewis Kerr quoted £144k excluding VAT as total deal value. Fiona Metcalfe, Group Finance Director, asked for the annual and one-off split and a usage case before the board sees any figure.
Ask: Fiona cannot take a combined figure to the board and wants the annual subscription and the implementation fee separated, in pounds, with the VAT position stated.
Customer view: she wants a usage case behind any subscription before it goes further. Lewis said nothing is agreed on price yet and promised the split in writing, so the thread shows no commercial commitment.
Next: Lewis sends the written split and a view of what the teams would do with Enterprise. The thread does not show whether this was sent.

- Lewis Kerr 16 Dec 2024 17:20Hello Neil, hello Fiona, Thank you both for your time on the discovery call. To put it plainly, what I heard is that your branches, the trade-credit team and the key-account managers each see a different picture of the same trade account, and you want orders, deliveries, calls and credit together in one place, inside your own Snowflake account. On that basis I'd suggest the Enterprise tier, which covers a company-wide rollout, single sign-on and an executive sponsor. To put a number on it, the total deal value is currently £143,500 excluding VAT. That figure includes the one-off implementation fee, so it is not an annual subscription price. I'll send the full breakdown over today, built from the current price book rather than from memory. My working assumption is a close around 14 Feb 2025, but that is only a plan and depends on your security review and your own timetable. Next step: a demo on your own trade-account data. I'll come back to Neil on dates. Kind regards, Lewis
- Fiona Metcalfe 18 Dec 2024 16:03Lewis, Thank you for the summary. One question: of the total, what is the annual subscription and what is the one-off implementation, in pounds, please? I can't take a combined figure to the board. Fiona Metcalfe
- Lewis Kerr 18 Dec 2024 17:32Fiona, A fair question, and I'd rather not give you a split from memory. I'll confirm the exact annual subscription and the implementation fee against the price book and the proposal, both with the VAT position stated, and send them in writing tomorrow so you can see where each part comes from. The £143,500 I quoted remains the total value of the deal, nothing more than that. Nothing is agreed on price yet, and I appreciate that is a conversation for you rather than something to settle on a call. Kind regards, Lewis
- Fiona Metcalfe 19 Dec 2024 16:51Lewis, Understood, thank you. Please send the split in writing and I'll look at it properly. We would want a usage case behind any subscription before it goes further, so please include what you would expect our teams to do with it. Fiona Metcalfe
