What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Kirsty Hepworth gave three renewal-prep questions and asked about speed and data copies. Tom Ashdown replied that data refreshes overnight and stays in the customer's Snowflake. Contract matters were left with Rebecca Ainsworth.
Ask: Kirsty wants claims status, helpline complaints and policy changes for a school or church before a renewal meeting. She also asked whether it is quick enough to use on the morning of a meeting and whether records are a separate copy.
Customer view: Kirsty is engaged but says she has not been involved in the contract side, so she is a user voice, not a buyer.
Next: Tom will build the next session around her three questions and send the written commercial split. The 3 Jan 2024 paperwork target is conditional on Kelbrook's internal conversations.

- Tom Ashdown 22 Nov 2023 14:35Hi Rebecca, hi Kirsty, Following the demo, I wanted to pick up what Kirsty said about preparing for a school's renewal. If I've understood it right, today she pulls together policy details, any open claims and notes from helpline calls from separate places, and often finds out something relevant only once she's in the meeting. What we showed was that one question, for example about a particular school, can be answered from all three together. Tobias is copied in case you want to ask how that sits on your own data. Kirsty, could you tell me the two or three questions you would most want to ask before a renewal meeting? Then I can make sure the next session uses your real examples rather than mine. Cheers, Tom
- Kirsty Hepworth 24 Nov 2023 13:11Hi Tom, Thanks for sending this. Yes, that's about right. Before a renewal with a school or a church I'd like to know: - whether they have had any claims recently and where those stand - whether they have called the helpline with a complaint or a worry - anything that has changed on their policy since last year I'd also like to know whether it is quick enough to use on the morning of a meeting, because I'm usually looking at this at short notice. And would the members' records be the same as the ones I already see, or a separate copy? I haven't been involved in any of the contract side, so I'll leave that with Rebecca. Thanks, Kirsty
- Tom Ashdown 27 Nov 2023 13:58Hi Kirsty, hi Rebecca, Thanks, Kirsty, that's really helpful, and I'll build the next session around those three questions. On speed: the data refreshes overnight, so on the morning of a meeting you would be looking at the picture as it stood the evening before. For a renewal meeting that is usually what people need, but if you ever need something more recent, tell me and we'll talk it through. On the records, it works from what's already in your own Snowflake account, so it isn't a separate copy kept somewhere else. Tobias can give you the precise detail if you want it. Rebecca, nothing further needed from you on the contract at this point. I'll send the written commercial split we discussed, and I'm still working towards 3 Jan 2024 for paperwork, but only if the internal conversations get you there comfortably. Cheers, Tom
