What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Draft renewal proposal from Lewis Kerr dated 30 Mar 2026 for the Growth tier: one year, 40 users, annual price £44k billed in advance. It is not an offer until an order form is issued and signed. Current term ends 4 Jun 2026.
What it is: a first draft from the Account Executive, marked "Draft for discussion. Not an offer until an order form is issued and signed." It proposes renewing Growth with no change to scope.
Commits: nothing binding. Section 8 says it "becomes binding only when an order form is issued and signed". The proposed terms are an annual price of £44k, 40 licensed users, annual billing in advance, and prices excluding VAT.
Unusual: the text sets £44k beside a contracted annual recurring revenue of £40k and offers to explain how the two relate. It does not say why they differ, whether a discount applied or whether the renewal price follows the price book.
Not settled: three open points remain (value summary in QBRs, annual or quarterly billing, signatory and invoice recipient). The text does not show whether the order form was issued or signed, and the as-of date is after the stated term end.

Body
Marlcliff Security Services - Renewal Proposal v1
Status: Draft for discussion. Not an offer until an order form is issued and signed.
| Prepared for | Marlcliff Security Services, Bristol |
| Prepared by | Lewis Kerr, Account Executive, BG-Demo |
| Customer Success Manager | Daniel Okafor |
| Date | 30 Mar 2026 |
| Subscription | B-Viz Growth |
| Current term ends | 4 Jun 2026 |
1. Context
Marlcliff Security Services joined BG-Demo on 5 Jun 2025 on the Growth tier. The business runs manned guarding, mobile patrol and alarm monitoring for around two thousand business clients across the South West and South Wales. You bought B-Viz so that account managers, the control room and credit control can see each client's sites, incidents, calls and invoices in one place, rather than reconciling separate systems by hand.
The current term ends on 4 Jun 2026. This proposal sets out what we suggest for the next annual term, so that there is plenty of time to talk it through, and so that nothing about the renewal comes as a surprise.
2. How the first year has gone
Read the whole document (4,804 characters)
This section draws on the usage and support records we hold for the account. It is a summary, not a full review, and Daniel will cover the detail at the next check-in.
- Adoption is growing. The number of people using B-Viz on a typical day has risen sharply compared with the previous quarter. That is the movement we most like to see, because it suggests more of your teams are asking B-Viz rather than going back to the underlying systems.
- Support has been quiet. There have been no tickets in the last thirty days, and none that were high priority.
- Billing is clean. There are no overdue invoices on the account.
What the records do not show is how much time or money your teams have saved. To put a number on it, we would like to work with you on a short value summary before the renewal, using your own measures from the control room and credit control.
3. What we propose
We propose renewing on the same tier, with no change to scope.
| Item | Proposal |
|---|---|
| Tier | Growth |
| Term | One year, annual, billed in advance |
| Licensed users | 40 |
| Connectors | The Growth connector allowance |
| Included features | Pages, chat and search, the dashboards builder, quarterly QBRs |
| Annual price | £44k |
| Total value of the renewal | £44k |
| Implementation fee | None; this is a renewal, not a new engagement |
All prices exclude VAT, which will be added at the prevailing rate on the invoice.
For reference, your contracted annual recurring revenue today is £40k. The renewal figure above is the annual price we are proposing for the next term. Once you have read this, I am happy to go through how the two figures relate, line by line.
4. Service levels
The Growth tier's standard service levels continue to apply: the standard Growth availability commitment, the Growth first-response time for priority one issues, and the nightly refresh completing by 07:00 UK time on business days. Service credits remain available for availability, as set out in your current order form. We are not proposing any change to these terms.
5. Headroom
Your licensed users are set at 40. Because usage has been rising, it is worth watching how close you get to that number over the coming months. We are not recommending any change today, and I would not suggest one unless the usage supports it. If it does, additional users can be added, co-termed to your renewal, so that you have a single renewal date and a single invoice cycle.
6. Open points
As this is a first draft, the following are still to be agreed with you:
- Whether you want the quarterly QBRs to include a short value summary for your leadership team.
- Whether billing should stay annual in advance or move to quarterly, which we can offer on request.
- Who at Marlcliff will sign the renewal order form and who will receive the invoice.
7. Next steps
| Step | Owner | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Review this draft and send comments | Marlcliff Security Services | Over the next couple of weeks |
| Walk through usage and the value summary | Daniel Okafor | At the next QBR |
| Issue the renewal order form under the existing MSA | Lewis Kerr | Once the open points are agreed |
| Signature of the order form | Marlcliff Security Services | Before the current term ends on 4 Jun 2026 |
I'll send that over today to Daniel as well, so that he can pick up the adoption points with your team directly.
8. Acceptance
This proposal becomes binding only when an order form is issued and signed by an authorised signatory for Marlcliff Security Services and for BG-Demo. The signature block will appear on the order form.
Kind regards,
Lewis Kerr Account Executive, BG-Demo
