What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Draft first proposal from Lewis Kerr dated 9 Apr 2025 for the Growth tier of B-Viz. It states a Growth subscription of £40k a year and a first-year deal total of £52k including implementation. It is not an issued offer, and no availability or P1 figures are stated.
What it is: a draft proposal, marked "Status: Draft" and "for discussion, not yet issued as an offer". It covers account management, the control room and credit control.
Commits: nothing binding. It quotes a Growth subscription of £40k, annual, billed in advance, and a total deal amount of £52k for the first year including implementation.
Unusual: the subscription is below the v1 Growth list of £44k in the brief, yet the text says "We have not yet agreed any discount". The document does not explain the gap. The implementation fee is not stated separately.
Not settled: connector list and go-live commitments, data owners in each team, start date, and the exact service-level wording. The document says these would be in the order form. It also does not show whether an order form was ever executed, so it is an open item and not contracted price.

Body
Marlcliff Security Services - Proposal v1
Status: Draft (for discussion, not yet issued as an offer)
Prepared by: Lewis Kerr, Account Executive, BG-Demo Customer success contact: Daniel Okafor, Customer Success Manager, BG-Demo Date: 9 Apr 2025 Prepared for: Marlcliff Security Services, Bristol
1. Context
Marlcliff Security Services provides manned guarding, mobile patrol and alarm monitoring to around two thousand business clients across the South West and South Wales. Over our conversations, the picture we have heard is consistent: the information needed to look after a client well sits in several different places.
- Account managers hold the commercial relationship and the contract history.
- The control room sees incidents, alarms and the calls that come with them.
- Credit control sees invoices and payment behaviour.
Each team can answer its own questions, but a question that crosses teams (for example, "how has this client's service looked over the last few months, and are they up to date with payment?") means someone reconciling several systems by hand. That is slow, and it tends to happen when a client is already unhappy.

This proposal sets out how B-Viz, run inside Marlcliff's own Snowflake account, would give all three teams one place to see each client's sites, incidents, calls and invoices together.
2. What we propose
We propose the Growth tier of B-Viz, covering several teams. In practice that means:
| Area | What Marlcliff gets |
|---|---|
| Teams covered | Account management, the control room and credit control |
| Users | The Growth user allowance |
| Connectors | The Growth connector allowance, for your CRM, the call recorder, the helpdesk and the accounting system |
| Capabilities | Pages, chat and search across connected data, plus the dashboards builder |
| Reviews | Quarterly business reviews with your customer success manager |
| Hosting | Built and run inside Marlcliff's own Snowflake account |
The exact list of connectors and the order in which they go live will be agreed with your team during scoping. We would rather confirm that with you than assume it here. Any connector named in the final order form will carry a commitment on how quickly it goes live.
3. How each team would use it
Account managers
Open a client page and see sites, recent incidents, recent calls and the invoice position in one view. Ask a plain question in chat, such as which clients have had repeated incidents recently, and get an answer drawn from the connected data rather than a manual search.
Control room
See a client's history alongside a live event: previous incidents at the same site, recent calls and any account notes. The aim is fewer moments of "who looked after this client last time?".
Credit control
See payment history next to service history. A late invoice from a client who has had a difficult month is a different conversation from a late invoice from a client with no issues, and credit control should be able to tell the difference quickly.
4. Implementation approach
Implementation is a one-off, fixed-fee engagement. It runs in three broad phases.
- Scoping. Confirm the systems to connect, the owners on the Marlcliff side and the questions each team most wants answered.
- Connect and index. Bring the agreed sources into your Snowflake account, check the data with your team and set up the nightly refresh.
- Adoption. Build the first dashboards with each team, train users and agree how success will be measured.
Daniel Okafor will own adoption after go-live, including the quarterly reviews. Lewis Kerr stays on the commercial side throughout.
5. Pricing
All prices below are shown excluding VAT, which would be added at the prevailing rate on invoice.
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Growth subscription, annual, billed in advance | £40k |
| One-off fixed-fee implementation | The balance between the annual price and the deal total |
| Total deal amount (first year, including implementation) | £52k |
To put a number on it: the annual subscription is £40k, and the deal amount of £52k is the total for the first year once the one-off implementation fee is included. The implementation fee is not repeated at renewal, so it should not be read as part of the annual price.
The subscription is invoiced annually in advance. Quarterly billing is available on request, and standard payment terms apply.
6. Service levels
The Growth tier carries the standard Growth service levels for availability and for first response to a priority one issue. The nightly refresh completes before the working day begins on business days, as on every tier. Service credits for availability follow the Growth terms. The full wording will be in the order form, and any variation we agree will be written there.
7. Assumptions and open points
This is a first draft, so a few things are still open.
- The final list of connectors, and the order they go live, is to be confirmed with your team.
- We need to confirm who at Marlcliff will own the data in each of the three teams.
- We have not yet agreed any discount. If one is discussed, it would apply to the first term only.
- Your security and data protection team may want to review how B-Viz sits inside your Snowflake account. We are happy to support that.
- Start date depends on signature and on when your team can make people available for scoping.
8. Next steps
| Step | Owner | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Review this draft and send comments | Marlcliff | Within the next week or so |
| Walk through the draft together and confirm scope | Lewis Kerr with Marlcliff | After your comments |
| Issue the order form under the MSA | Lewis Kerr | Once scope is agreed |
| Introduce the customer success manager and plan scoping | Daniel Okafor | On signature |
I'll send a revised version over today if anything in section 7 changes after we speak.
Kind regards,
Lewis
