What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Draft proposal from Sophie Ling to expand an existing Starter subscription. It states an annual expansion value of £4,000 and a recorded deal amount of £1,260 that are not reconciled. It is not agreed or binding, and it states no availability or P1 response figure.
What it is: a working draft dated 27 Apr 2026 for an expansion, not a tier change. The text says "nothing in it is binding until an order form is signed under the master agreement."
Commits: nothing. Billing would be "invoiced in GBP, with standard payment terms", and service levels are "the standard Starter service levels, unless the order form says otherwise".
Unusual: the two expansion figures differ, £4,000 annual value and £1,260 deal amount, and the draft says "we have not tried to reconcile them". Usage is low against 15 licensed users, and two tickets were open, one high priority.
Not settled: the add-ons that make up the expansion, who would use them, and how the amounts fit together. The current term end of 28 Aug 2026 has passed, and the draft does not show whether the renewal or expansion went ahead. It is superseded by any executed order form.

Body
Mossbrook Data Partners - Proposal v1
Status: Draft
| Prepared for | Mossbrook Data Partners, Manchester |
| Prepared by | Sophie Ling, Account Executive, BG-Demo |
| Customer success manager | Marcus Bell |
| Draft date | 27 Apr 2026 |
| Proposal type | Expansion of an existing Starter subscription |
| Current term ends | 28 Aug 2026 |
This is a working draft for discussion. It has not been agreed by either side and nothing in it is binding until an order form is signed under the master agreement.
1. Context
Mossbrook Data Partners has been a BG-Demo customer since Friday 29 August 2025. As a Snowflake specialist, it builds and runs data warehouses for a large number of mid-sized clients across the North West. It uses B-Viz on the Starter tier for its own client base, and it was our first implementation and referral partner. That relationship matters to us beyond the subscription itself.
Today the account holds a contracted annual recurring revenue of £20k on the Starter tier, with 15 licensed users. Payments are up to date and there are no overdue invoices.
2. What we have seen
These are observations from the last month, not conclusions.

- Usage. The number of people active in a typical day is small compared with the 15 licensed users, and it is slightly down on the previous quarter. This suggests the licence is used by a few people rather than across the team. It is something to understand before we propose anything that adds capacity.
- Support. Two tickets were raised in the last month, one of them high priority. Both are with the support team and Marcus is following them. We would like them closed before this proposal is finalised.
- Commercial. The subscription is on time and in good standing. The current term ends on 28 Aug 2026, so this expansion conversation also sits close to the renewal conversation, which Marcus owns.
3. Proposed scope
The proposal is an expansion of the existing Starter subscription, not a change of tier. Mossbrook would stay on Starter, keeping its pages, chat and search, and the six-monthly check-in.
The exact components of the expansion are still open (see section 6). Any additions would come from the standard add-on list, and the Starter allowances for users and connectors would be described in the order form in words that match the price book, so that there is no doubt about what is included.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Tier | Starter |
| Deal type | Expansion |
| Existing licensed users | 15 |
| Data platform | B-Viz continues to run inside Mossbrook's own Snowflake account |
| Service levels | The standard Starter service levels, unless the order form says otherwise |
4. Pricing
| Line | Amount | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Annual value of the expansion | £4,000 | The annual price of the expansion once it is live |
| Deal amount recorded for this proposal | £1,260 | The total value of this deal as it is currently held in our records |
| Existing contracted ARR | £20k | The current Starter subscription, shown for reference and unchanged by this proposal |
The two expansion figures are not the same thing and we have not tried to reconcile them in this draft. We will confirm with our finance team how the deal amount relates to the annual value, and what, if anything, is a one-off charge, before this goes to Mossbrook. No discount is shown in this version.
Billing would follow the existing arrangements: invoiced in GBP, with standard payment terms.
5. Why this makes sense for Mossbrook
- Mossbrook uses B-Viz across work for its own clients, so the value comes from fewer manual reconciliations between systems and quicker answers.
- As a long-standing referral partner, Mossbrook is well placed to show other data teams what B-Viz does. A well-used account is the best reference we can offer.
- Extending the subscription now keeps the renewal conversation simple, because the expansion and the existing term can be discussed together.
6. Open points
- Which add-ons or additions make up the expansion, and who at Mossbrook would use them.
- Why daily active use is low against the licensed users, and whether the expansion would help or only add cost.
- How the deal amount and the annual value fit together, to be confirmed with our finance team.
- Whether the two open tickets are resolved before this is shared.
- Whether the expansion should be aligned with the end of the current term.
7. Next steps
| Step | Owner | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Review the two open tickets with support | Marcus Bell | Before this draft is shared |
| Confirm pricing with our finance team | Sophie Ling | Next week |
| Agree the scope with Mossbrook's team | Sophie Ling | After the pricing check |
| Prepare an order form under the master agreement | Sophie Ling | Once scope is agreed |
| Raise renewal timing alongside the expansion | Marcus Bell | Ahead of the renewal notice |
8. Acceptance
This draft is not for signature. When the scope and pricing are agreed, an order form will be issued, and it will decide the contracted price and terms.
