What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Final proposal from Lewis Kerr dated 13 Jan 2025 for B-Viz Enterprise. Annual subscription £114k, total deal value £144k including one-off implementation. It is a proposal, not executed paper, and states no availability or P1 response figures.
What it is: a proposal from Lewis Kerr to the leadership team at Strensall Merchants. It says "The total deal value of £144k is not an annual price." The recurring annual price is £114k, billed yearly in advance, exclusive of VAT.
Commits: it states no numeric service levels. It refers only to "Enterprise service levels" with "service credits as set out in the order form". Quarterly invoicing is available on request.
Unusual: the annual price of £114k differs from the v1 Enterprise list of £110k in the company brief. The document does not explain the difference.
Not settled: the proposal says "the executed order form, which takes precedence over this proposal". Whether an order form was signed, the connector list, payment terms and any start or renewal date are not shown here. The stored status is final, but this is still a proposal.

Strensall Merchants - Proposal
Prepared for: the leadership team at Strensall Merchants, York Prepared by: Lewis Kerr, Account Executive, BG-Demo Date: 13 Jan 2025 Version: Final Proposed tier: Enterprise
All prices in this document are in pounds sterling and are quoted exclusive of VAT, which will be added at the prevailing rate on invoice.
Context
Strensall Merchants is a builders' merchants group with about ninety-five branches across the North of England and the Midlands. Trade accounts are the heart of the business, and each one touches several teams: the branch that takes the order, the depot that delivers it, the key-account manager who holds the relationship, and the trade-credit team who decide how much exposure the group is comfortable with.
In our discovery conversations the picture was consistent. Each of those teams works from its own system, and a simple question such as "how is this trade account really doing?" means someone has to gather orders, deliveries, call notes and credit position by hand, and then reconcile them. By the time the answer is assembled it is often out of date.

What you told us you want is a single place where branch, trade-credit and key-account teams can see each trade account's orders, deliveries, calls and credit together, and ask questions of it in plain English.
What we propose
We propose B-Viz on the Enterprise tier. B-Viz is one AI-queryable layer over your CRM, calls, emails, tickets, finance and operational data. It is built and run inside your own Snowflake account, so your data stays under your control and is not copied into a platform you do not own.
For Strensall Merchants this means:
- A joined-up view of each trade account. Orders, deliveries, calls and credit sit side by side, so a key-account manager can see the same picture as the credit controller.
- Questions answered, not reports requested. Branch managers and credit staff ask B-Viz directly, rather than waiting for a colleague to build a spreadsheet.
- Company-wide reach. Enterprise is designed for company-wide deployments and regulated buyers, which fits a group of your size and spread.
- Enterprise controls. Single sign-on and automated user provisioning, so access follows your own identity rules as people join, move and leave the branches.
Scope
Included in the subscription
| Item | What it means for Strensall Merchants |
|---|---|
| Enterprise tier of B-Viz | Company-wide deployment across branch, trade-credit and key-account teams |
| Pages, chat and search | Account pages that pull the whole trade account together, with natural-language questions over the same data |
| Dashboards builder | Your own teams can build the views they need |
| Quarterly business reviews | A regular review of usage, value and plans with your customer success manager |
| Single sign-on and user provisioning | Access managed through your identity provider |
| Executive sponsor | A named senior BG-Demo sponsor for the relationship |
| Enterprise allowances | The Enterprise user allowance and the Enterprise connector allowance |
| Enterprise service levels | The Enterprise availability commitment, first-response commitment and data freshness commitment, with service credits as set out in the order form |
Included in the implementation
Implementation is a one-off, fixed-fee engagement. It covers:
- connecting your source systems to B-Viz inside your Snowflake account;
- modelling trade accounts so orders, deliveries, calls and credit resolve to the same customer;
- configuring pages, search and chat for the branch, trade-credit and key-account teams;
- training for the first groups of users and for your administrators;
- support through your security review, so your IT and information security colleagues have what they need to approve the deployment.
Not included
Anything not listed above is outside this proposal. If you later want extra users, extra connectors, Premium support, the Sandbox or dedicated data residency, we will quote those separately and co-term them to your renewal.
Pricing
| Component | Amount | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Annual subscription, Enterprise | £114k | Annual price, billed yearly in advance |
| One-off implementation | Included in the deal total | Fixed fee, payable once at the start |
| Total deal value | £144k | Annual subscription plus the one-off implementation fee |
To put a number on it: the annual price that recurs each year is £114k. The total deal value of £144k is not an annual price. It is the annual subscription together with the one-off implementation fee, which does not recur. All figures exclude VAT.
The subscription is invoiced annually in advance. Quarterly invoicing is available on request. Payment terms will be set out in the order form.
How we would work together
Phase one: mobilise
We agree the source systems, the named owners on your side and the first teams to go live. Your information security colleagues start the security review, and we support them throughout.
Phase two: connect and model
We connect your systems inside your Snowflake account and model each trade account so that its orders, deliveries, calls and credit join up. We check the results with your key-account and trade-credit teams on real accounts, not samples.
Phase three: launch and train
We release pages, chat and search to the first branches and teams, train administrators and users, and agree the first set of dashboards your teams want to build.
Phase four: review
Your customer success manager, Daniel Okafor, takes over day-to-day adoption and holds the first quarterly review with your team, looking at usage, the questions being asked and what value the business is seeing.
What good looks like
We suggest judging the engagement on a few plain measures:
- A credit controller can see a trade account's recent orders, deliveries and calls in one place without asking anyone else.
- A key-account manager can prepare for a customer meeting from B-Viz rather than from several systems.
- Branch teams use B-Viz in their working week, and the number of questions asked rises quarter on quarter.
- Your administrators are comfortable running access and connectors themselves.
We will report on these at each quarterly review, so that the value of B-Viz can be stated rather than assumed.
Assumptions
- Strensall Merchants provides timely access to the source systems and to the people who know them.
- Strensall Merchants nominates a business owner and a technical owner for the deployment.
- Your Snowflake account is available for B-Viz to be built and run inside it.
- The final scope, connectors and commitments are those in the executed order form, which takes precedence over this proposal.
Next steps
- Review this proposal with your leadership, trade-credit and IT colleagues.
- Confirm the source systems you want connected first, so we can fix the connector list in the order form.
- Start the security review so it runs alongside commercial agreement.
- Order form under our master agreement. Once you are content with scope and price, I will send the order form over the same day, co-termed to the subscription start.
If anything here does not match what you expected, tell me and I will correct it before we go to paper.
Kind regards,
Lewis
