What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Final proposal from Tom Ashdown dated 1 Dec 2023 for B-Viz on the Growth tier. The annual subscription is £56k; the two-year deal total is £124k, including the one-off implementation fee. It is a proposal, not an executed order form.
What it is: a sales proposal for a two-year Growth subscription, prepared by Tom Ashdown for Kelbrook Mutual Insurance in Leeds. It is stored as final, but the text lists issuing an order form as a next step.
Commits: it states £56k as "the annual subscription price" and £124k as the total across the term. The subscription is "invoiced annually in advance, with quarterly invoicing available on request, on thirty-day payment terms".
Unusual: the £124k is not an annual price, and the implementation fee is not shown separately. The service levels are only "the standard Growth service level", with no figures stated.
Not settled: no connector go-live dates, user or connector counts, discount or signature appear. The order form "will set out the final lines, term and any commitments on connector go-live", so the executed order form decides price and terms. The text does not show the proposal was accepted.

Body
Kelbrook Mutual Insurance - Proposal
Prepared for: Kelbrook Mutual Insurance, Leeds Prepared by: Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BG-Demo Customer success contact: Marcus Bell, BG-Demo Date: Friday 1 December 2023 Status: Final
Context
Kelbrook Mutual Insurance is a mutual insurer of schools, churches, charities and community buildings across the UK, owned by its members. Your members trust you with the places their communities rely on, and that puts a particular weight on how well you know each one.
From our conversations, the picture is a familiar one. Member services, underwriting and claims each hold part of the story of a member. Policies sit in one place, claims in another, and the conversations your people have with members on the phone and by email in others. Pulling those together for a single member usually means someone doing it by hand, and the answer is only as fresh as the last time they did it.
This proposal sets out how BG-Demo would put a single layer over those sources so that all three teams can see each member's policies, claims and calls together, and ask questions of it in plain English.
What you told us you need
Read the whole document (5,888 characters)
- Member services to see a member's full history before they pick up the phone, without opening several systems.
- Underwriting to see claims experience and recent contact alongside the policy when they review a risk.
- Claims to see the policy position and earlier conversations without asking another team.
- A setup that stays inside your own control, with your data kept in your own environment.
- A term long enough to embed the change properly rather than a short pilot.
Our proposal: B-Viz on the Growth tier
B-Viz is one AI-queryable layer over your CRM, calls, emails, tickets, product usage, finance and HR data. It is built and run inside your own Snowflake account, so your data does not leave your environment.
We recommend the Growth tier, because it is designed for several teams working from the same view. It includes:
- Pages, chat and search across the connected sources.
- The dashboards builder, so your teams can build the views they use every day.
- Quarterly business reviews with your customer success manager, Marcus Bell, to check adoption and value.
- The Growth user allowance and the Growth connector allowance, which we will confirm against your list of sources and teams during onboarding.
- The standard Growth service level for availability, first response on priority issues and the nightly refresh.
Scope of the implementation
The implementation is a one-off, fixed-fee piece of work delivered over the standard Growth timeline. In outline:
| Phase | What happens | Who is involved |
|---|---|---|
| Setup | Agree the sources to connect, set up B-Viz in your Snowflake account, agree access | Kelbrook IT, BG-Demo implementation team |
| Connect | Connect the sources and check the first loads against records your teams know well | Kelbrook data owners, BG-Demo implementation team |
| Shape | Build the first pages and dashboards for member services, underwriting and claims | Team leads from each function, Marcus Bell |
| Launch | Train the first users, confirm the nightly refresh, hand over to routine support | All three teams, Marcus Bell |
We would ask you to name one person in each of the three teams to help us test that the answers look right. Their knowledge of your members is what turns a working connection into something your colleagues trust.
Commercials
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Growth subscription, annual price | £56k |
| Term | Two years |
| One-off implementation fee | Included in the deal total below |
| Deal total (two-year term, including the one-off implementation fee) | £124k |
To be clear about what each figure means: £56k is the annual subscription price. £124k is the total value of the deal across the two-year term, and it includes the one-off implementation fee. It is not an annual price.
The subscription is invoiced annually in advance, with quarterly invoicing available on request, on thirty-day payment terms. Anything we agree beyond this, such as additional users or connectors, would be priced separately and agreed in writing before any work starts.
How we will measure success
We suggest judging B-Viz on whether your people stop reconciling systems by hand and start asking it instead. In practice we would look at:
- How many questions your teams are asking, and whether that is spread across the three functions rather than resting on one or two people.
- Whether the nightly refresh is landing on time, so that what people see is current.
- Which dashboards your teams build and keep using.
- Feedback from member services, underwriting and claims at each quarterly review.
Marcus will bring these together at the quarterly reviews so that the value is visible to you and not just claimed by us.
Assumptions
- Kelbrook can give access to the systems to be connected and nominate a technical contact for the Snowflake setup.
- The connectors in scope are agreed during setup and fit within the Growth connector allowance.
- Your team leads are available for testing and training sessions during the implementation.
- The order form, issued under our master agreement, will set out the final lines, term and any commitments on connector go-live.
Next steps
- Kelbrook confirms the Growth tier and the two-year term.
- We issue the order form under our master agreement for review and signature.
- We agree the list of sources and name the team contacts.
- Marcus Bell and the implementation team schedule the kick-off.
If anything here does not match what you had in mind, tell me and I will sort it. Let's get something in the diary to walk through it together.
Cheers,
Tom Ashdown Account Executive, BG-Demo tom.ashdown@bg-demo.example
