Internal draft renewal proposal, not shared with the customer. It proposes a one-year Growth renewal at £58k annually for 60 users, against contracted ARR stated as £51k. The current term ends on 30 Nov 2026.

What it is: an internal draft by Tom Ashdown, marked "Draft for internal review. Not yet shared with the customer." It sets out the Growth renewal for the term after the one ending on 30 Nov 2026.

Commits: nothing yet, as it is a draft. It proposes an annual price of £58k, one year, "Annually in advance, on standard payment terms", with 60 licensed users.

Unusual: the proposed price is well above the stated contracted ARR of £51k, and the document says the price is "the proposed figure for this draft and will be confirmed in the order form". It also admits usage has eased, with active users around ten against sixty licensed.

Not settled: how to explain the change from current ARR, whether the user number and connector set are right, and whether to offer an adoption session. No service-level figures are stated beyond "standard Growth service levels". The document does not show the basis for the increase.

Dunholm Precision - Renewal Proposal v1

Draft for internal review. Not yet shared with the customer.

Prepared by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BG-Demo Date: Monday 21 September 2026 CSM: Daniel Okafor

1. Context

Dunholm Precision, a Sheffield manufacturer of precision machined components for aerospace and energy customers, has used the brain since 1 Dec 2024. It brings customer orders, quality tickets and sales-engineer calls together in one place, inside the company's own Snowflake account.

The current Growth term ends on 30 Nov 2026. Contracted ARR today is £51k. This proposal sets out the renewal for the next term.

2. How the account is doing

  • Activity has eased a little against the prior quarter. Active users averaged around ten over the last thirty days.
  • Sixty users are licensed, so there is plenty of room for more of the business to use the brain.
  • One ticket was raised in the last thirty days, and it was marked high priority.
  • There are no overdue invoices.

The softer usage is something to address with the team before signing, not something to hide in the paperwork. Daniel will pick this up with the day-to-day users.

The annual price shown is the proposed figure for this draft and will be confirmed in the order form before anything goes to the customer.

4. What stays the same

  • The Growth tier, including the dashboards builder and quarterly business reviews.
  • The standard Growth service levels, including the nightly refresh before the start of the business day.
  • The existing connectors and the customer's Snowflake-based set-up.

5. Open points

  • Confirm whether the licensed user number is still right given current usage.
  • Confirm whether the connector set needs to change.
  • Agree internally how to explain the change from the current contracted ARR.
  • Decide whether an adoption session should be offered alongside the renewal.
