What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Priya put an Enterprise proposal of £110k against the current £40k Growth subscription. Fraser rejected a step of nearly three times the size while usage is down. Both options are to be sent in writing.
What happened: Priya recapped Growth at £40k a year and the Enterprise proposal, with a target of Thu 5 Feb 2026. Morag joined for the first time as the person handling paperwork and invoicing.
Customer view: Fraser said costs should grow with the client base, not ahead of it. Lorna said she cannot tell her team they are getting something bigger when they are not using what they have.
Commercial: Priya conceded the £110k is a deal total, not an annual price, and offered to keep both options open with usage thresholds. The Enterprise deal is an open proposal, not executed paper.
Watch: Morag needs the order form well before 10 Feb 2026 because terms are thirty days. Fraser decided nothing on the call.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Priya to send both options side by side today, with the subscription and one-off split and a date for each.
- Daniel to send Lorna the connector findings and afternoon session dates.
- Daniel and Priya to regroup with the customer before Thu 5 Feb 2026, with usage re-checked.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Fraser sees the Enterprise proposal as far larger than current spend while usage is down, so it may stall the renewal.
- A late decision leaves little time to issue the right order form before the term ends on 10 Feb 2026.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Enterprise offers SSO, an executive sponsor and higher service levels if usage recovers.
- Agreed usage thresholds could give a evidence-based route to the bigger step.
Transcript
- Daniel OkaforGood morning, everyone, and thank you for your time. Let me check who has joined. Fraser, Lorna, Morag, and Priya is with me. Morag, I don't think we've met on a call before, so welcome.
- Morag GalbraithMorning. Yes, Fraser asked me to listen in, since I'll be the one dealing with the paperwork and the invoicing.
- Fraser MoncrieffMorning. What's changed since last week? I assume Priya's here to tell me.
- Priya RamanMorning, Fraser, all. Happy to make this easy, so let me give a quick recap of where we are and then the next date. You're on Growth today, thirty-nine thousand six hundred pounds a year, forty users, and the term ends on 9 Feb 2026, renewing the day after on 10 Feb 2026. We've put an Enterprise proposal in front of you as the renewal option, and the total on that deal is £110,000. The date we're aiming at to get it over the line is Thursday 5 February 2026, to keep momentum ahead of the contract end.
- Fraser MoncrieffRight. Let's start with the base. What's that per client? You've given me a total, not a figure I can compare.
- Priya RamanFair challenge. That's a total for the deal, so I wouldn't want to read it as an annual price without breaking it down. I can send you the split in writing, what's the subscription and what's anything one-off.
- Morag GalbraithThat would help me. Our current invoice is the thirty-nine thousand six hundred, and I'd need to see exactly how any new amount would be billed and when, before I could even forecast it.
- Daniel OkaforIf I can add something here, because I don't want the commercial side to run ahead of how you're actually using it. Last week we looked at the usage, and it's still well below the forty licences. Eight or nine people on a normal day. I did check the connector Euan mentioned and I'll come back to you on that properly, Lorna, but I wanted Priya to hear it too.
- Lorna CairnsThanks, Daniel. I'll be honest with Priya as well. My client managers haven't come back to it in numbers yet. The refresher helps, but one week isn't enough to say it's turned.
- Priya RamanTotally understand, Lorna. I'd say, though, that Enterprise is more than users. It would give you the single sign-on, the executive sponsor, and the higher service levels. If we can get the whole picture working for your client managers, the case gets much stronger.
- Lorna CairnsHas the client been told, is what I always ask. What I mean is, I can't tell my team they're getting something bigger when they're not using what they have.
- Fraser MoncrieffQuite. Costs should grow with our client base, not ahead of it. At the moment we'd be moving to something nearly three times the size of what we pay, while usage is down. I'm not comfortable.
- Priya RamanThat's a reasonable position, Fraser. I'm not going to push you into anything. What if we kept both options open, Growth as it is and Enterprise, and agreed what usage would make the bigger step sensible? Then you're deciding on evidence.
- Fraser MoncrieffI'd want that in writing, with the numbers and the base. And I'm not deciding anything on this call.
- Priya RamanOf course. I'll put it together today, both options side by side, with a date for each so you know what's open and until when.
- Daniel OkaforAnd from my side, I'd suggest we look at the usage again before that fifth of February date, so what you see in the paper is current. Just to close the loop, I'll send Lorna the afternoon session options and the connector findings.
- Morag GalbraithCan I ask about timing? Our terms are thirty days. If the renewal date is 10 Feb 2026 and anything changes, I need the order form well before then, so we don't end up with an invoice raised against the wrong thing.
- Priya RamanUnderstood, Morag. That's exactly why I'd like a decision soon. If you tell me which form you want, I'll have the right order form with you ahead of the contract end.
- Fraser MoncrieffLet's see it at renewal. Send me the paper, and Morag and I will go through it. Lorna, you'll tell me honestly where the team is.
- Lorna CairnsI will, Fraser. Short and plain.
- Daniel OkaforThank you all. So, Priya sends both options with the split today, I send the connector findings and session dates, and we regroup before Thursday 5 February 2026. Best wishes to you all, and good luck with the pay dates.
- Priya RamanThanks, everyone. Best, Priya. Speak soon.
- Lorna CairnsThanks, all. Bye for now.
