What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026On the 2 May 2024 renewal call, Brindlecote's team said brokers use B-Viz most days and chose to stay on Starter. Nell Ashcombe told them the Starter rate of £20k is locked in. An order form follows.
What happened: Daniel Okafor opened the renewal conversation and Nell Ashcombe joined. The customer wanted no change, and Daniel said he would send a renewal order form on the same terms.
Customer view: Ed Duckworth said brokers ask questions most days and that it has changed how they prepare for renewals. Ravi Atherton asked about a price increase and was told there would be none. He then said they are happy with Starter.
Commercial: Nell offered Growth at £44k as the growth route, and the customer did not take it up. Quarterly billing continues, with the same fifteen users and four connectors.
Watch: The promise that the rate is locked while on Starter goes further than the price book, which moves v1 customers to the v2 list at their first renewal on or after 1 Jul 2026. The executed order form should be checked for what it actually commits to.

Transcript
- Daniel OkaforMorning, all. Thanks for making the time. Your subscription is up for renewal on first of June, and I wanted to check in on how the year's gone and talk through next steps.
- Ed DuckworthIt's been great. People are using it regularly. We've gotten a lot of value.
- Daniel OkaforThat's what we like to hear. I know Nell wanted to join this call too. Nell, you there?
- Nell AshcombeI'm here. How's Brindlecote getting on?
- Ed DuckworthReally well. The brokers are asking questions of the brain most days. It's changed how we prep for renewals.
- Nell AshcombeExcellent. So when we look at your renewal, you're at nineteen five annually. You've been with us for a year, so you've had the new customer discount we gave you. Assuming we renew, that's your rate for the next year as well.
- Ravi AthertonNo price increase?
- Nell AshcombeNot for renewal. The nineteen five is locked in as long as you're on Starter tier.
- Zoe NuttallGood. And the quarterly billing continues?
- Daniel OkaforYes, if you want it. Same structure as the first year.
- Ed DuckworthSo it's the same deal, another year?
- Nell AshcombeExactly. Nineteen five a year, payable quarterly, same fifteen users, same four connectors. You can keep going, or if you want to grow, we'd move you to Growth, which is forty-four thousand and opens up more features.
- Ravi AthertonWe're happy with Starter. What do we need to do?
- Daniel OkaforI'll send you a renewal order form. It's the same terms as this year. You sign it, and we'll continue from first of June.
- Zoe NuttallWhen do you need it signed?
- Daniel OkaforEnd of May would be ideal, so we can make sure the subscription is live on the first of June. No gap.
- Ed DuckworthWe can do that.
- Nell AshcombeGreat. Daniel, send the form. And Ed, any last questions?
- Ed DuckworthNo, I think we're good. Thanks.
- Daniel OkaforBest wishes. Speak soon.
